Day 01: Calicut

On arrival at Calicut railway station / Airport you will be met and assisted by our representative and transfer to Hotel in Calicut, after refresh and relax proceed to Sightseeing at Calicut.

Beypore was one of the prominent ports and maritime trading centres of ancient Kerala. This small coastal town known for centuries as a ship building centre and still famous for its country crafts called “Uru”.

Kappad is one of the most charming of Kerala’s beaches. This is the historic beach where Vasco da Gama landed. The beach has a rock formation on one side and stretches endlessly on the other end.

Sweet Meat Street is the busiest street in Kozhikode and derives its name from the times when the street was lined with sweetmeat [halwa] stalls. Whether it is sweets, spices, cloths, electronics or handloom fabrics, SM Street has it all.

Day 02: Calicut – Wayanad

Morning after breakfast proceeds to Wayanad. On arrival check in to the hotel/resort .Leave for sightseeing.

Pookot Lake is a natural fresh water lake nestles in the lap of Western Ghats. This picturesque lake surrounded by evergreen forest and wooded hills. Boating in the Pookot Lake is a memorable experience.

Edakkal Caves are two natural caves located 1,200 metres above sea level on Ambukutty Mala. Inside the cave you will find ancient stone scripts, pictorial wall inscriptions of human and animal figures with peculiar headdresses, the swastik form, symbols and cave drawings of human figures, wheels, bows, knives, trees and so on. The wall art found in these caves have caught the attention of archaeologists worldwide.

Muthanga wildlife sanctuary Popularly known as the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, This wildlife sanctuary bestowed with lush green forests and rich wildlife.This wildlife area houses some of the rare and endangered species of both flora and fauna. Discovering and observing the wildlife while being atop an elephant is an enthralling and unforgettable experience.

Day 03 Wayanad

Full day sightseeing at Wayanad

Kuruva Island is a vast island of 950 acres abundantly rich with green forest.This beautiful tourist spot lies on one of the tributaries of river Kabani. The wooded stretch of land is home to rare species of birds, orchids, butterflies and herbs.

BanasuraSagar Dam: This is the largest earth dam in India. The dam is made up of massive stacks of stones and boulders. The dam holds a large expanse of water and its picturesque beauty is enhanced by the chain of mountains seen on the backdrop.

Day 04: Wayanad – Kannur

Morning after breakfast proceed to Kannur.

Muzhappilangad Beach: Muzhappilangad beach is one of the longest beaches in Kerala. It is Asia’s only drive in beach where you can drive without getting stuck in the sand. Drive in sunset time is unique experience which is thrilling.

Dharmadam Island: Dharmadam Island is a small island full of coconut palms and green bushes extending to 5 acres. The island is a beautiful sight from the Beach. During low tide, one can just walk to the island from the beach. It is an ideal spot for tourists.

St.Angelos Fort: This massive triangular laterite fort also called Kannur Fort was constructed by the first Portuguese Viceroy, Don Francesco de Almeida in 1505. The fort changed hands several times. In 1663, the Dutch captured the fort from the Portuguese and sold it to Ali Raja of Kannur. In 1790 the British who seized control over the fort, renovated and equipped it to be their most important military station in Malabar. Today, St. Angelo’s Fort is a protected monument under the Archaeological Survey of India

Payyambalam Beach: Payyambalam beach is a popular picnic spot. This beautiful stretch of sand and surf is the best locale for a relaxed evening. The well laid out garden and the massive landscaped sculpture of mother & child makes it extremely captivating.

Day 05: Kannur – Bekal

Morning after breakfast proceeds to Bekal. Enroute visit Neleswaram Neeleeswaram gifted with nature’s abundant beauty.This is the cultural center of Kasaragod.Valiyaparamba backwater is one of the most scenic backwater stretch in Kerala. Fed by four rivers and dotted with numerous little islands, you can explore the backwaters in a traditional houseboat.

Bekal fort is the largest and best preserved fort in the whole of the Kerala, surrounded by a splendid beach. Bekal fort offers a superb view of the Arabian Sea from its tall bservation.

Day 06: Bekal – Mangalore.

Morning after breakfast proceeds to Mangalore and depart to your onward destination.
